Harding Construction has a full and diverse workload. Here are just a few of our completed projects.

Oceania Dairies

Harding Construction recently completed  work on the new UHT building for Oceania Dairies in Glenavy, North Otago. Working with Ebert Construction, the Harding Construction team carried out the formwork, carpentry and fit out of the new facility and assisted with precast panel erection.

“Effective progress monitoring and scheduling played a vital part in ensuring the success of this project,” says Simon Harding, Construction Manager for Harding Construction. “We had a great team of builders on site working through all sorts of weather conditions and challenges to ensure the project met the targets.”

Harding Construction received excellent feedback for its work. “We always strive to produce high-quality, defect-free work on schedule and within budget” says Harding. “It’s rewarding when that kind of effort is recognised.”

Opihi College Gym Changing Rooms

Harding Construction completed the stylish upgrade of the Opihi College gymnasium change rooms with excellent results.

Clean, crisp colours and lines meet functional form to offer students an attractive, spacious changing area.

"Our old changing rooms were in a really sorry state and were not a nice space for students to use," says Tina Johnson, principal of Opihi College.  "It is very hard for students to look after an area if it is in such disrepair.”
Harding Construction was pleased to deliver another high quality result for a South Canterbury school.
“The redevelopment, and work of Harding Construction, has created an attractive area that our students can now treat with respect."
- Tina Johnson,
Principal, Opihi College

Burger King, Timaru

Burger King in Timaru recently underwent a small but elegant facelift.
Harding Construction completed the project with minimal disruption to the busy restaurant by working in the evenings after hours.

Customers would hardly have been aware of work going on, and the end result was a cleaner, fresher looking restaurant.

“This was great work, thank you”
- Brendon Peirce
Construction Manager
Antares Restaurant Group Ltd

The Landings

Harding Construction completed the structural concrete and carpentry work for this high profile Timaru commercial development in May 2016.

This was a demanding development with time constraints to work around. The Harding Construction team applied a “Can Do” approach, finding solutions and working to achieve a successful building project.

“The project went exceptionally well, largely due to the professional and diligent contribution from Harding Construction. The attention to detail was excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending Harding Construction for any type of construction work.”
James McCondach
Head Consultant
Gravitas Consulting
The Landings

Harding Construction was involved in the project from excavation to completion, under the direction of an Auckland-based project management company.

The Harding Construction team coordinated with a full ensemble of suppliers and subcontractors throughout the building process.

Hell Pizza, Timaru

Harding Construction completed the high quality fit-out of the new Timaru Hell Pizza store with excellent results.
Mr O, the owner and operator of the new store was most enthusiastic in his praise:

Our thanks to Harding Construction who worked on our project, the internal fit-out of the new HELL Pizza in Timaru.
You are professional and client focused. You gave lots of good advice to save us costs. The most important thing for us was that our project was finished within the set time scheduled.

Thanks to Harding Construction, the team and especially Ela. You gave us so much support during the work and even after the project was finished. I will definitely come back to you.

Mr O

ADBT office fit-out

This award-winning project for Aoraki Development Business and Tourism was completed with minimal funding and a high level of support from the local business community.

This project provided opportunities for innovation, creativity and problem-solving. It allowed generosity, cooperation and collaboration between local businesses working towards a common goal.

It was most certainly our pleasure to coordinate this project.

“Harding Construction were extremely easy to work, with providing solutions and options and genuinely understanding our brief.”
- Wendy Smith Chief Executive

Laser Plumbing's new Coresteel building

As far as the owner of the newest Coresteel building in Timaru is concerned, “The building speaks for itself.”

This functional new facility incorporates spacious office areas, staff facilities and a large workshop for the practical side of the business.

Harding Construction / Coresteel South Canterbury worked closely with the customer to develop the building design and ensure they got exactly what they wanted. The end result was a practical, cost-effective design that maximises natural light, offers plenty of room to work in and has easy access in and around the building.

St Joseph's School

Harding Construction was the main contractor for the upgrade of two classroom blocks at St Joseph’s School, Temuka.

Our brief included demolishing and replacing old walls, ceilings and flooring, creating new storage areas and re-lining classrooms, as well as coordinating the various sub-trades involved with the project.

The scope of the project expanded significantly as unforeseen structural issues were discovered once work had begun, requiring full and immediate remedy. Our team quickly formulated a time and cost-effective solution and work continued without interruption or delay.

“We would like to officially thank you and your team for the outstanding work done with the recent recladding and building upgrades at our school. The whole community is delighted with the complete transformation of a building that is the envy of others."
Bernie Leonard, Principal
